NORMAN AMBROSE
Norman Ambrose, the eponyonous womenswear collection designed by Norman Ambrose epitomizes the principles of modern American tailored sportswear. Idealistically focused on classic construction and details most often associated with couture, the Norman Ambrose collection focuses on a very sophisticated aesthetic which has many of his private clients (some of the best-dressed women around the world) calling him the “modern day” Norman Norell or Geoffrey Beene.
Born and raised in California, Norman graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and continued his studies at the Instuto Europeo di Design in Milan where he worked on projects for the renowned houses of Versace and Bottega Veneta. From Italy, Norman moved to New York and launched his label.
