JOY CIOCI

A Florida native, Joy Cioci began her path in fashion at the age of 15, creating full collections in high school after switching focus from art to fashion design. Cioci went on to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, concentrating her curriculum on evening wear and tailored garments. Upon completing her studies, Cioci apprenticed at luxury houses Gucci, Carolina Herrera and Nina Ricci before moving to the contemporary fashion world to assist in launching the brands Chelsea Flower and WiNK, respectively. Cioci departed WiNK in 2010 to launch her eponymous New York City based brand that consists of her most personal collection to date.

The Joy Cioci collection draws from a background in luxury and contemporary to offer women fresh, modern apparel with novel, luxurious detailing that today is often found lacking. A great appreciation for detail and craftsmanship make for pieces that evoke a unique essence of love and demonstrate the intimate thought process behind her true vision. Sexy, romantic and influential personal inspirations play into each one of Cioci's meticulous designs to provide a versatile collection that women can go to for everyday effortless wear.

Joy Cioci launched with Fall 2011 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Fall 2012 will be her third season presenting at Lincoln Center.
