ELENE CASSIS

Born and raised on Long Island, Elene Cassis was a competitive gymnast for 10 years before venturing into fashion and attending Parsons School of Design. In June 2009, she started her own signature collection which has already caught the attention of top retailer Neiman Marcus, along with over 30 other noted specialty stores nationwide.
With her strong retail following she has also become a favorite of young celebrities, most recently dressing Taylor Swift for an UK editorial in Bliss Magazine. In addition, her first runway presentation on September 16, 2010, was highly praised by the media and she received recognition for her classical dress shapes, a la Jackie O, with bold colors and mod designs.
Cassis was just selected as a finalist for the Fashion Group International, Rising Star Award.
