DIESEL BLACK GOLD
Greek born and English based designer Sophia Kokosalaki plays a primary role in the development of the Diesel female high-end collection Diesel Black Gold. Following graduation from Central Saint Martins in London Sophia Kokosalaki began her career collaborating with several international fashion houses. In 1999 she launched her first women's collection and from the beginning she has been recognized and applauded internationally receiving various rewards (“Best New Designer 2001”, “Art Foundation Award for Fashion 2002”, “Best New Generation Designer 2003” at the British Style Awards, to name but a few). One of Sophia’s greatest accomplishments is the creation of costumes for the opening ceremony of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
