DAVIDELFIN
DAVIDELFIN conceives fashion as a form and means of expression, converting it into a platform
were different creative disciplines come together throughout the working process.
Davidelfin has been established in the fashion industry as trendsetter, with a renown brand identity and a multidisciplinary creative capacity that goes beyond the field of fashion. This has been publicly recognized by the many prices received over the years, among which we want to highlight TELVA´s ¨Premio de Moda T¨ to the Best Spanish Designer in 2008, Season´s Book price to the Best Fall/Winter Collection 2008, Prix de la Mode Marie Claire 2003 to the Best Young Spanish Designer and L’Oreal’s price to the Best Collection 2003 for “In Loving Memory”. The Spanish designer David Delfin is a talented creator, who has very close ties to artistic and cultural worlds. This relationship can be appreciated in his collections, where one can find many art references. Hence, it is not surprising that his fashion store has been included in ARCO since 2008 with the intervention of artists like Enrique Marti and Rosalía Banet. His collections have received the acknowledgment and support from critics not only for the fashion shows’ productions, but also for their quality, and from the singularity of its fabrics, patterns and tailoring.
Davidelfin is integrated by a young team of more than 20 professionals with the most diverse backgrounds such as fashion design, graphic design, photography, architecture, music, public relations and tailoring. This rich mix of talents has brought us to be continuously embarking on projects aside from fashion, which have been influenced by our group ideology. Some of these projects have been: the presence in Guggenheim Museum Bilbao as part of the exhibition ¨Cosas del Surrealismo¨ (Matters of Surrealism) in June 2008, the design of “Ford Focus Coupé Cabriolet by Davidelfin”, the wardrobe design for the play at theTeatro Español de Madrid, HAMLET (adapted and directed by Tomaz Pandur), the image design for Malaga’s Film Festival, the interior design project for the Finca de Arandinos Hotel in La Rioja, the art direction works for Miguel Bosé’s LP PAPITO and for The Cabriolet’s DEMO (a musical project led by Bimba Bosè, muse and partner of the brand.)
At present, Davidelfin is a consolidated national brand operating two stores in Madrid, with an online store, and with 50 points of sale around Spain.
