ARGENTINE DESIGNERS: CORA GROPPO
Cora Groppo incorporates her fascination with nature and morphology into her design aesthetic. Her garments reflect a thorough understanding of the body’s form and structure. The search for “the perfect fit” is at the core of all of her collections, which are known for strong shapes, monochromatic hues, and expert tailoring.
As a graduate in fashion design from the University of Buenos Aires, Cora began her career working for renowned Argentine labels like Vitamina and Yagmour. She later began to study the body and morphology in her search for “the perfect fit.”
In collaboration with Ramiro Lopez Serrot, Cora launched the label Cora Groppo in 2003. The line is modern, sophisticated and urban. She takes classic cuts and reinvents them to highlight the body and enhance the silhouette.
Coragroppo has shown at London Fashion Week, Fashion Edition Buenos Aires and La Cibeles in Madrid. Her line retails in luxury boutiques worldwide, as well as in her own boutiques: two in Buenos Aires and one in Rome.
